Methods to Install Google Wallet (Unsupported Regions)

To install Google Wallet in unsupported countries, follow the step-by-step guide below to download and install it directly on your device. Alternatively, change your Google Play Store region by adding a payment method from a supported country. Tap the profile icon > Settings > General > Account and device preferences > Country and profiles, then switch your region back.

Sideload Google Wallet (Android)

Part 1 — Install APKMirror Installer (required first)

  1. Install the free APKMirror Installer app from the Play Store. Google Wallet is distributed as a bundle file (.apks) that requires this helper to install — a regular file manager won't work.

Part 2 — Download & install Google Wallet

  1. Tap the download button for your phone type. Most phones made after 2018 use arm64-v8a; if unsure, check Settings → About Phone → Processor.
    Download — Modern phones (arm64-v8a)Download — Older phones (armeabi-v7a)
  2. Once downloaded, open the file — your phone should prompt you to open it with APKMirror Installer. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
  3. If Android asks you to enable "Install from Unknown Sources", allow it for APKMirror Installer. You can turn it off again after installation.
